As the year comes to a close

The year has been winding down at Cherubs while the energy in the shop has been picking up. We officially were awarded a sustainability grant for the backyard which has been such a blessing. We are excited to bring in the new year with a xeriscaped native plant garden, a screened in patio, a rain collection barrel, a new drainage system, and a bird habitat. It’s been such a pleasure to watch this project come into fruition and has been so nice to end the year with this gift.

Glimpses of how the next year will be at the shop have been popping up over the past couple of weeks and I am so excited to have some new faces at the shop, new specials, and all of the sick artwork and tattoos that are to come.

I’m taking the last couple of weeks off at the shop to recover from a surgery but everyone else has been busy at work! Josh and Rogelio cranked out another sick Chicano flash set, contact them directly to book one of these designs or walk-in any day to get them tattooed:

Eric is wrapping up his first semester of tribal tattooing in his apprenticeship and is due to tattoo his very first fake skin before the end of the year! He should be applying his first tattoos on live skin this summer, if you’re interested in getting an apprentice tattoo by him reach out to him on Instagram. In the mean time we outlined a super fun piece on his ribs, I can’t wait to finish up this piece in the new year.

Finally we have a couple of specials in the mix, we are bringing Name Day back in January and Rogelio is currently offering some special prices on this flash sheet:

DM Rogelio on Instagram to book an appointment for one of these designs or walk in Thursday-Sunday

Our first name day will be on January 3rd!

Anyhow- I really appreciate those who supported me and the shop this year. It was a rough but rewarding one for me and I’m glad to be closing it out with healing time. I feel blessed to have the people surrounding me right now that I do and I am happy to continue in the direction that life is flowing. I hope everyone has a great end of the year and 2025 brings you exactly what you need. :-)
